2 Lebanese Martyred in Israeli Drone Attack

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Lebanese National News Agency, citing the country's Ministry of Health, announced that Israeli drones targeted a car on the road to Zebdine on Monday night, martyring 2 people and wounding 4 others.

According to the report, the attack is part of a new wave of Israeli attacks on southern and eastern Lebanon that has intensified in recent days.

The attack took place while Israeli warplanes had previously heavily bombed around Nabatieh in southern Lebanon.

News sources had reported heavy explosions and fires in these areas. The Lebanese LBCI network had also reported Israeli airstrikes on eastern regions of the country, including Zaghreen, the outskirts of Harbata, Sha'at, and around the city of Hermel.

The Israeli army radio claimed that the attacks targeted training camps and weapons depots of Hezbollah-affiliated Radwan forces. However, the attacks on civilian areas and private vehicles have raised concerns about the escalation of the conflict and the violation of Lebanese sovereignty.
