Oman Air Removes Fake Name Israel from Its Map

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Mayadeen, Israeli media reported that Oman Air has removed the [fake] name "Israel" from its maps and replaced it with "the State of Palestine."

Earlier, in a speech at the United Nations General Assembly, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi strongly criticized the Zionist regime and called for international sanctions against the regime for "clear violations of international law and encroachment on the sovereignty of countries."

He emphasized: "The international community today is facing vital issues that require solidarity, responsibility, and cooperation."

Referring to the Palestinian issue, Al-Busaidi noted: "The Palestinian issue must be prioritized in all our discussions. Now is the time to end the occupation and realize the two-state solution to end decades of conflict and deprivation.”

The Omani Foreign Minister stressed: “Recognizing the State of Palestine at this critical juncture is the most important step towards a just resolution of the conflict and will demonstrate the international community’s commitment to the two-state solution.”

Criticizing the Zionist regime’s approach, he said: “Israel continues to ignore the calls of the international community and refuses to enter into serious dialogue that would lead to a comprehensive and just solution, and continuing the policy of using force and silencing the voice of rationality poses a serious threat to the credibility of the international system.”

The Omani Foreign Minister called on the international community to take practical measures to limit the Israeli regime’s ability to continue its policies of “genocide, destruction of the Palestinian land, siege and starvation of the people of this country.”

He also proposed launching a peaceful global campaign to lift the siege, end the oppression against the people, and establish an independent Palestinian state.
