Weapons of Resistance: Guarantee of the Security of the Islamic Ummah

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The weapon of Resistance is one of the most crucial components that has altered the balance of power within the political and security equations of West Asia. This weapon has not only been a defensive tool for the occupied nations but also symbolizes their independence, dignity, and right to sovereignty against the hegemonic system.

In recent years, the Zionist regime and its Western allies have repeatedly attempted, through diplomatic, economic, and media pressures, to compel Resistance groups to disarm or limit their defensive capabilities. However, experience has shown that the weapon of Resistance is not negotiable.

The reason for this is that Resistance movements in recent years, in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, have clearly understood that deterrence power comes not from paper agreements or the promises of Western powers, but solely from the path of weaponry and defensive capability.

Furthermore, the regional and global experience of recent years has shown that whenever the Resistance has relied on its military power, the occupiers and enemies of the Resistance have retreated before it. Conversely, whenever negotiations have replaced Resistance, the result has been nothing but failure and humiliation.

To provide an example, we can refer to the period after the 2006 33-Day War in Lebanon and the Al-Aqsa Storm operation in 2023. These events clearly demonstrated that it was not diplomatic negotiations, but rather the missile and tactical capabilities of the Resistance, that established a balance of terror against its enemies, particularly the Zionist regime.

Of course, Resistance groups in the region have had extensive past experiences in confronting the Zionist regime and the United States. This has led to a profound, wise, and justified distrust of the Western world. In fact, the Resistance learned this significant lesson at a great cost: they should never trust the leaders and officials of the Western world.

Accordingly, it must be said that from the Oslo Accords to the so-called "New Middle East" initiatives, the West and the Zionist regime have consistently tried to enter through the door of negotiations and gradually disarm the Resistance. However, the outcome of these projects has been nothing but the expansion of settlements, economic blockade, and the continuation of crimes in Gaza and the West Bank.

In fact, it is these costly and often heavy experiences that have led the leaders of the Resistance to explicitly declare: "As long as even one inch of Palestinian land remains occupied, any dialogue concerning the weapons of the Resistance is and will be meaningless."

Another important point is that the weapon of Resistance is not merely a tool for war; rather, it is the language of deterrence against the occupation by the Zionist regime and America. In a world where major powers use weapons for domination, the Resistance uses weapons to defend human dignity.

In reality, a very crucial matter is that the weapon of Resistance can be considered a form of sacred defensive policy. Its legitimacy stems from the natural right of oppressed nations to defend themselves against the world's tyrants and arrogant powers, especially the Zionist regime and its Western allies, particularly the criminal United States.

Amidst this, the very important issue is the stance of the nations and the future of the Resistance. Public opinion in the region, and even in many Western societies, has gradually come to understand that efforts to disarm the Resistance essentially mean surrendering nations to aggression and occupation. Based on this, popular support for the Axis of Resistance throughout the Arab and Islamic world is increasing day by day. Today, the weapon of Resistance is not only a tool of defense but also a symbol of the national and political identity of free nations. Any attempt to negotiate over it is tantamount to trading in the blood of martyrs and turning one's back on the ideal of freedom.

Finally, the weapon of Resistance is non-negotiable because it is part of the identity and existence of the resisting nations. Disarming the Resistance means annihilating the right to self-defense and leaving the hands of the occupiers free to continue their crimes. In a world where organized oppression flows from the dominant powers, only the language of power can guarantee real peace.
