Resistance's Achievement in the Gaza War Was Unprecedented

TEHRAN (Defapress) - "Nidal Abu Zeid", a Jordanian military expert, stated in an interview with the Palestinian news agency Shehab: What Gaza has achieved during more than two years of war with the Zionist regime is an unprecedented achievement.

He considered the 733 days of war in Gaza a turning point in the conflict with the occupiers and emphasized that, despite the maximum destruction, Gaza prevented the occupiers from achieving any military or political goal.

Abu Zeid, pointing out that the Gaza resistance confronted the Zionist regime's war machine, which is ranked 18th among the world's armies and has nuclear weapons, stated that the cohesion of the home front thwarted the occupiers' attempts to influence the relationship between the Resistance and the people.

The Jordanian expert emphasized that Gaza has experienced 5 wars since 2008, so the October 7th battle was not a random event, but rather a continuation of a long and deep-rooted path of Resistance.

He added: “The popular base of the Resistance did not rebel against the Resistance despite the siege and destruction, but remained a strong base for the national project. The Resistance’s success in continuing to stand firm throughout the war is the result of the evolution between the field activities of the Resistance forces and the all-around support of the people. The people of Gaza joined the Resistance not only in the field, but also in thought and belief, and their slogan was: Stones and trees are destroyed, people are martyred, but the idea of ​​Resistance never dies.”

According to the Jordanian expert, the experience of the recent war has strengthened the idea of ​​forming a new stage of Palestinian Resistance, a stage that can pave the way for the restoration of the rights of the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank and national unity based on confronting the occupation.

Abu Zaid concluded by emphasizing: "The support of the people in Gaza never turned away from the Resistance, except for a small number of lawless individuals who were not supported even by the Zionist regime. Therefore, in the coming stage, we must rely on the people of Gaza; the people who have proven to be the cornerstone of the resistance and the basis of the Palestinian national project."
