The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that winter has arrived in the Gaza Strip, with refugees living without any shelter in the wind and rain amid the destruction of their homes.

TEHRAN (Defapress) - UNRWA stressed on Monday that it has the necessary supplies to shelter Palestinian refugees in its warehouses in Jordan and Egypt and that its entry into Gaza only needs a green light.

The agency, affiliated with the organization, added that despite the situation, 12,000 Palestinian UNRWA staff have not stopped working, and they provide health services, psychosocial support, water, sanitation, and basic services every day across Gaza.

The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10 after two years of Zionist genocidal war. However, the Israeli army violates this agreement daily and continues to prevent most humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip, especially shelter supplies and tents.
