TEHRAN (Defapress) - UNRWA stressed on Monday that it has the necessary supplies to shelter Palestinian refugees in its warehouses in Jordan and Egypt and that its entry into Gaza only needs a green light.

The agency, affiliated with the organization, added that despite the situation, 12,000 Palestinian UNRWA staff have not stopped working, and they provide health services, psychosocial support, water, sanitation, and basic services every day across Gaza.

The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10 after two years of Zionist genocidal war. However, the Israeli army violates this agreement daily and continues to prevent most humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip, especially shelter supplies and tents.

On October 8, 2023, with the full political and military support of the United States, the Israeli regime began a genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in more than 68,800 martyrs, more than 170,000 injured, 10,000 missing, and extensive destruction of infrastructure.
