Hezbollah's Upcoming Meeting with the Pope's Representative in Lebanon

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Ahed, Ali Fayyad, a member of the Lebanese Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, affiliated with Hezbollah, stated: "After the party's message to the Pope during his visit to Lebanon, the relationship between the two sides continues, relying on his role in opposing the oppression and aggression against this country by the Zionist occupiers."

He added: "A meeting is scheduled to be held between Hezbollah representatives and the Pope's representative in Lebanon." The Pope's representative in the country had previously announced that he would deliver Hezbollah's message to him and that a meeting would be held after the Pope's visit.

Fayyad stated: "Hezbollah emphasizes its principles of peaceful coexistence among the Lebanese people and their unity alongside the presence of Christians in this country. We ask the Vatican to stand by Lebanon in light of the continued aggression of the Zionist regime and the pressure exerted on this country."
