TEHRAN (Defapress) - In the past two years, the West Asian region has witnessed extensive developments. During this period, the Zionist regime has attacked Gaza and the countries of Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran, and Qatar, committing numerous crimes. Under the pretext of confronting the Axis of Resistance and with the comprehensive support of the United States and NATO, the Zionists launched a comprehensive attack against Iran, aiming to overthrow the Islamic Republic system and disintegrate Iran. However, in this war, which lasted 12 days, they not only failed to achieve their objectives but also suffered severe blows due to the devastating missile response from Islamic Iran.

The Zionist regime incurred extensive losses in the 12-day war. Examples include the complete destruction of three military settlements in the Ramat Gan area on the outskirts of Tel Aviv. Additionally, Fattah hypersonic missiles completely destroyed the Weizmann Institute, and severe damage was inflicted on buildings affiliated with the Israeli army and the Ministry of War. Furthermore, the "Bazan" refinery suffered heavy losses, and Israeli Air Force bases, including Nevatim, Tel Nof, and Palmachim, were seriously damaged. Ultimately, the Zionist regime was forced into a ceasefire, and the war ended within 12 days.

Despite the events in the initial hours of the Zionist regime's aggression, the commanders of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran managed the affairs of this war well and subsequently sought to enhance the country's military capabilities. Field source reports indicate that after the recent war, Iran's air defense systems have been strengthened, and the country's missile capability has significantly increased.

Alongside these measures, the Islamic Republic of Iran Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) tested their military capabilities through exercises. In this regard, the IRGC Ground Forces and Naval Force recently held two major exercises, showcasing their combat power.

The IRGC Ground Forces, commanding the International Sahand 2025 Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercise, demonstrated their combat power over five days using special units such as the Saberin Special Forces Brigade and the Mirza Kuchak Khan Brigade. Exercises included troop helicopter insertion, armored unit deployment and positioning in border areas, joint drills with countries like Uzbekistan and Belarus to block terrorist routes, helicopter assault operations using IRGC Aviation helicopters, and destroying terrorist support lines in close-quarters combat. The exercise also tested the "Hadid 110" drone, which can strike certain American military bases in the region up to a range of 350 kilometers.

Concurrently with the final day of the Eghtedar Exercise, the IRGC Naval Force conducted a major exercise in the Persian Gulf, flaunting its power to its enemies. A feature of this exercise was testing a powerful and precision-guided anti-ship missile capable of traveling a distance greater than the length of the Persian Gulf and destroying targets with very high accuracy.

Rear Admiral Ali Tangsiri, Commander of the IRGC Naval Force, stated in this regard: "We used a missile in the Persian Gulf for the first time, whose range exceeds the length of the Persian Gulf; that is, more than 1,375 kilometers. This missile, produced by the IRGC Navy, has unique capabilities, is commendable and guidable after launch, and this achievement is the work of domestic elites."

Emphasizing the indigenous nature of all equipment used in the exercise, he mentioned the deployment of a new IRGC Navy ballistic missile with very high accuracy, saying: "I won't name the missile, but the enemies saw its accuracy."

Furthermore, a massive launch of anti-ship ballistic missiles from the Persian Gulf coasts demonstrated that the IRGC Naval Force can powerfully defend Iran's seas and interests in the Persian Gulf. Another point worth noting is that the presence of American warships in the Persian Gulf is more perilous for the United States and its allies than for Iran. This is because Iran's precision-guided missiles can accurately target and destroy American warships.

Another point is that the Americans, recently, by activating the snapback, seek to inspect or seize Iranian ships. The Islamic Republic of Iran Navy and the IRGC Naval Force adopted a strategy of reciprocal action against these American measures, and the seizure of some ships in recent months is part of this strategy.

The Commander of the IRGC Naval Force stated in this regard: "Whenever our ship has been seized by one of these countries, the IRGC Navy has not left that action unanswered. Of course, the Navy has done the same."

He adds: "The dear people of Iran should know that we have no formalities with the enemy, and if they intend to violate the possessions of this nation, what the martyrs have given us, and the interests of our country, they will definitely get slapped in the mouth."

Accordingly, possessing missile power in today's world is an important and necessary matter. Despite some believing that "today's world is a world of discourse, not missiles," the opposite has been proven in the past year or two, whether in the West Asian region, the Ukraine war, or the conflicts occurring in Libya and Sudan. These events show that discourse alone, without military power, leads nowhere; it is power that speaks first.
