Maduro recognized the cultural and spiritual power of the Venezuelan people more than ever before, saying: "Now, Venezuelan children feel that their country is no longer a colony of another country."

He praised the efforts of the Venezuelan people to increase the political, military, economic, and scientific power of the country, adding: "We must be prepared for a long, active, and effective resistance."

While the United States has imposed a military and economic blockade on Venezuela and is demanding the resignation of its government, Caracas says that the goal of Washington's threats is to dominate the region's oil resources.
