Israeli Attacks Aim to Thwart Efforts to Stop the Tension

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Mayadeen, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun announced that the continuation of the Zionist regime’s attacks on Lebanon creates many doubts on the eve of the meeting of the mechanism.

Aoun stressed that the continuation of the Israeli attacks is aimed at thwarting all local, regional, and international efforts to stop the tension.

The Lebanese President stated that the Zionist regime’s attacks continue despite Lebanon’s official engagement with the ceasefire efforts at various levels.

Joseph Aoun called on the international community to intervene effectively to end the Zionist regime’s aggressions.

He noted: “We once again call for the empowerment of the mechanism to carry out the tasks assigned to it with the agreement of the interested parties and international support.”
