TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to TASS, spokesperson for Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Omer Celik, told journalists: "Ankara believes that the problems that Iran is facing today should be resolved without foreign intervention."

Celik spoke after a meeting of the party's executive committee, chaired by President and party leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stating, "We do not seek chaos in Iran. We emphasize the importance of ensuring stability there. These problems must be resolved without foreign intervention. Any potential foreign intervention would only worsen Iran's situation."

The Turkish spokesperson criticized statements made by officials of the Zionist regime against Iran, adding, "Looking at Israeli officials' remarks about Iran, we see that they have taken a harsh stance that will lead to more problems throughout the region."

He noted, "As the unrest in Iran subsides with the separation of protesters from rioters and terrorists, the United States and the Zionist regime, through military threats against Iran, are trying to prevent the improvement of security conditions in the country."

Celik concluded by stating: "The experience of the 12-day imposed war showed that foreign threats increase unity and internal cohesion among the Iranian people, and Washington and Tel Aviv are unable to defeat the Iranian nation through sanctions and military pressure."
