TEHRAN (Defapress) - Following the discovery and identification of the body of the last Zionist soldier in the Gaza Strip, Suhail al-Hindi, a senior Hamas leader, stated last night: With the discovery of the body of the last Zionist prisoner, the occupiers’ excuse for not opening the crossings and preventing the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip has disappeared.

Right to Resistance for the Palestinian People Is Non-Negotiable

In a press statement, al-Hindi emphasized Hamas’s full adherence to its commitments in the ceasefire agreement and said: Now, all parties must focus on the need for the Zionist occupiers to adhere to the provisions of the ceasefire before questioning the weapons of Resistance, and Resistance is the right of all people under occupation.

He added: We are talking about a long-term ceasefire, but our right to Resistance is non-negotiable. The decision on weapons of Resistance is a national decision that is made by Hamas, in cooperation with all Palestinian groups.

These words of the Hamas leader came after the Israeli army spokesman announced last night that the body of Ran Gvili, the only remaining Israeli prisoner in Gaza, had been identified and returned.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasizing the identification of the last body of the Israelis in Gaza, tried to consider this an honor for himself and claimed that he had fulfilled his promise to return all Israeli prisoners in Gaza.

This is while the Zionists had recently launched a search operation to find him after the Qassam Brigades provided information about the whereabouts of the body of this Israeli prisoner, and the Zionist regime had not been able to achieve anything in this regard with its vast resources.

The Zionists had always used the failure to recover the body of this Israeli prisoner as an excuse to evade entering the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and not to fulfill their obligations, including the opening of the Rafah crossing.

On Sunday night, Abu Obaida, a spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said: Al-Qassam has transferred information and the location of the last body of an Israeli prisoner, named Ron Gwili, to the mediators.
