TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a report, the Anadolu News Agency addressed the situation in the Persian Gulf countries after the announcement of a temporary ceasefire between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States and wrote: The Persian Gulf countries, which have taken refuge in the US security umbrella and have paid hundreds of billions of dollars for this, have faced a bitter reality in Iran's regional war. The advanced systems that these countries had at their disposal could not completely stop the missiles and drones. Experts believe that in the new trend, the countries of the region will turn to the products of the Turkish defense industry.

The US and Israeli attacks on Iran and Tehran's decisive response through the Persian Gulf countries have opened a window to a new era. The idea that if something goes wrong, the systems we have received from the United States will protect us has been nullified for the countries of the region, especially Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar.

The countries mentioned above have not been able to stop Iran’s missiles or suicide drones. During the Ramadan war, Saudi oil facilities, which are particularly sensitive to this country, were targeted, and smoke rose from Dubai, which had spent trillions of dollars to make a great image of itself. Also, the gas production center of Qatar, which was considered the heart of this country, was targeted.

The news agency noted: Many more examples can be cited. At this very point, a question worth billions of dollars has been raised again: what defense strategy will the Persian Gulf countries, which were not protected by the United States, pursue in the process of reconstruction?

Some experts, such as Yusuf Akbaba, believe that after the Persian Gulf countries' disappointment with America and due to the urgent needs arising from the current conflict, many requests have been received by Turkey, and these countries have shown interest in receiving Turkish defense industry products.
