TEHRAN (Defapress) - Israeli soldiers who participated in the Gaza genocide after Al-Aqsa Storm Operation confessed in an interview with the Zionist newspaper Haaretz that they treated innocent Palestinians like monsters and are now witnessing deep psychological and spiritual problems.

The Israeli newspaper noted that the soldiers who were responsible for the killing and torture of thousands of Palestinian civilians in Gaza are afraid to tell their crimes to those around them and are constantly worried about the consequences of their crimes.
A soldier with the pseudonym "Yuval", who was present in Khan Yunis in December 2023, told Haaretz: "I opened fire like crazy on a group of Palestinians who had been identified by drones near Salah al-Din Street." They were an old man and three children, none of whom were armed. Their bodies were riddled with bullets, and their internal organs were spilling out. After the incident, the battalion commander spat on the bodies of the Palestinian civilians and shouted: “This is the fate of those who attack Israel.”
Yuval added: “After the war, my friends called me a hero, but I felt like a monster. Our actions in Gaza were reminiscent of the Holocaust. After the massacre at Shifa Hospital, the smell of corpses filled the entire area.”
An Israeli female soldier, nicknamed “Maya,” also told Haaretz: “I witnessed the killing of innocent Palestinians in Gaza and experienced events so shocking that it is indescribable. We shot five unarmed Palestinians who had entered the restricted area with tanks and buried their bodies with road construction machinery.”
He added: "We tortured the Palestinian prisoners severely and urinated on them, and all the soldiers laughed out loud at these scenes."
Another soldier, nicknamed "Juda", noted: "An unarmed Palestinian approached the checkpoint with his hands raised in surrender, and I shot him on the orders of my superior officer. Later, we reported to the army headquarters that a terrorist had been killed in the incident."
The report also cited Israeli soldiers as saying that Palestinians were used as human shields and that the homes of Gazans were looted before being destroyed.
Another soldier, nicknamed "Ran," who was in the airstrike planning unit, said: "The soldiers would enter the homes of the Palestinians and enjoy the destruction. They would loot electrical appliances, gold necklaces, cash, and everything." We believed that all Arabs were Nazis and that stealing from the Nazis was a great opportunity. The slaughter of children in Gaza was completely normal for us, and we would immediately head to Tel Aviv for hamburgers.
