100 Sumud Caravan Activists Arrested in International Waters
TEHRAN (Defapress) - The criminal Israeli army attacked the international Sumud convoy in international waters of the Mediterranean to seize the Sumud international convoy, which was trying to break the blockade of Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid to the region.

The Sumud International Caravan Crisis Headquarters announced that two warships were seen near the boats of the convoy near the coast of the island of Cyprus. Videos have also been released showing Israeli attack boats approaching some of the vessels and harassing them.
Israeli media have also reported that the attack has begun. Live broadcast images show some activists on boats throwing their phones into the sea and raising their hands in surrender as Israeli soldiers approach.
Crisis headquarters officials also announced: "Our communication with one of our boats, which was targeted by Israeli harassment, has been cut off, and Israeli soldiers have boarded some of the vessels."
The Hebrew website Walla also reported that 100 pro-Palestinian activists in the flotilla were arrested.
The Israeli army had previously attacked pro-Palestinian ships in international waters.
Sumud flotilla officials emphasized: "Safe passages must be created to carry out our humanitarian and legal mission. In addition, governments must take action to stop these illegal actions and continue the siege of the Gaza Strip." Israel's attack on the Sumud convoy took place 250 miles from Gaza.
