Naval Blockade Will End Either Through Negotiation or Force
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Ebrahim Rezaei, Spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated that Iran prefers diplomacy, but at the same time, it has red lines from which it will not retreat, and Washington must make concessions to reach an agreement because it is in a weak position.

Rezaei told Al Jazeera that the possibility of war still exists and Iran has prepared itself for it.
He added: “We do not welcome a return to war, but if that happens, America will suffer more losses. We are steadfast in both diplomacy and war to achieve our goals.”
The MP stated: “Our red lines in the negotiations include paying compensation, ending the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, lifting sanctions, and withdrawing American forces from the region.”
Rezaei stated: There is progress in the negotiations, and we do not deny this, but we must be careful because there is a possibility that the situation will escalate into war.
He said that the contradiction in the US position is one of the problems that has prevented an agreement from being reached so far.
The Spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly concluded by stating that Israel wants the war in Lebanon to continue, but Iran stands by this country and the resistance and is committed to ending this war.
