DB Schenker Logistics Warehouse in Kyiv in the Fire of Russian Missiles
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Following last night’s Russian missile attacks, a massive fire broke out at the logistics company DB Schenker’s logistics warehouse located on the southwestern outskirts of Kyiv, and efforts to fully contain it are still ongoing.

According to confirmed reports, the incident was a direct result of the firing of Iskander-M ballistic missiles or Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles from Russia. Local reports indicate that after at least two of these missiles hit the target, secondary explosions from shrapnel or materials inside the warehouse could be heard for more than 3 hours.

The Ukrainian State Emergency Service announced that although the fire is now under control and surrounded by rescue workers, the flames had spread to an area of about 100,000 square meters before being contained, completely engulfing two large warehouses in the complex.

Also, satellite data from FIRMS shows that the dimensions of the fire had expanded significantly in the past few hours. Firefighting operations by Ukrainian rescue teams are still ongoing in the ruins left by the night attack.
