Combination of Soft and Hard Power Has Placed Iran’s Armed Forces At the Top of the World
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Reza Talaeinik, Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support, in an interview with Defapress correspondent, explained the role of the thoughts of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution in the strength of the armed forces, stating: “The foundation of Iran’s defense power is based on beliefs, spiritual power, and soft power.”
Brigadier General Talaeinik continued: “The main component of Iran’s defense power is reliance on divine faith, the spirit of martyrdom, courage, and popular support, and these elements, along with technological capabilities and advances in weapons and equipment, have created a unique power-building combination.”
Referring to the intellectual foundations of Imam Khomeini (RA) and Martyr Imam Khamenei, the Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support stated: “In the thoughts of the Leaders of the Revolution, defense teachings based on theology, popularization of defense, and utilization of the power of faith are recognized as the basis for superior capabilities.”
He stated that the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, continuing the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), perpetuated defense ideas in a complete system for the present and future generations, adding: A set of defense ideas and a strategic command model, combined with cultural, spiritual, and social teachings, have been the main components of the provincial leadership's thought in gaining Iran's defense power.
Referring to the effectiveness of this defense idea, Brigadier General Talaeinik said: The achievements of the defense ideas of the Leaders of the Revolution in recent victories and also in the eight years of Sacred Defense are completely visible and tangible.
The Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support emphasized in the end: The reliance of the people, fighters, and the pillars of the system on these defense ideas and the decisive strategies of the provincial leadership have guaranteed victories in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
