Iranian Armed Forces Defeated Terrorist Powers
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Ahmad Vahidi, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), during a joint meeting with Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Army, to review the latest situation on the battlefields, while honoring the memory of the martyrs of the recent war, especially the martyrs of the powerful Army, notably Martyred Lieutenant General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi and Martyred Major General Aziz Nasirzadeh, referred to the achievements of the recent Imposed War and stated: "National unity and cohesion were the greatest achievements of the military war and the enemy’s recent threats. In the military sector, as in other sectors, we are witnessing an unprecedented unity among all military and Law Enforcement Forces, as well as unprecedented intelligence and operational synergy, which is considered one of the important factors of victory."

Major General Vahidi further stated regarding the Army’s heroism in the two recent Imposed Wars: "The spirit of chivalry and patriotism of the Army's commanders and forces during these two wars inscribed brilliant pages of manhood and self-sacrifice in Iran’s history. The Revolutionary Army acted with revolutionary operational initiatives in the war. The Army and the IRGC, as two great anti-American powers, rubbed the noses of terrorist powers in the dirt."
Paying tribute to the bravery of the Army fighters, the IRGC Commander-in-Chief added: "The Americans have struck the solid wall of faith and zeal of the Iranians, and desperation and helplessness ripple through the behavior and decisions of the White House. Trump has resorted to lies and deception to manufacture achievements. The US and Zionist military and intelligence agencies deceived US political officials regarding Iran's military challenges and resilience, and today, American political officials are deceiving the American public to cover up their failures."
Stating that the military capability of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran is beyond the enemy's imagination, Major General Vahidi emphasized: "In this war, they saw firsthand their wrong estimates of our Army's capability, and Iran's military realities are unveiled on the battlefield. The Zionist army would collapse in a very short time without American support."
During the meeting, Major General Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated: "For over four decades, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has consistently been one of the main pillars of national power, security, and deterrence of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and today, relying on its faith, experience, and strategic capabilities, it stands authoritatively on the frontline of defending the country’s independence and security."
The Army Commander-in-Chief stated: "The global arrogance front's continuous hostility toward the IRGC is itself clear evidence of this institution's decisive role in maintaining authority and national security; the enemies know very well that the IRGC is a symbol of the Iranian nation's defense will and power, and one of the most significant obstacles to achieving their goals."
Honoring the memory of the martyrs of Iran’s defense capability, he said: "Today, the IRGC is the heir to the blood of great commanders and fighters who sacrificed their lives in defense of Iran and the Islamic Revolution; from Martyred Lieutenant General Hossein Salami and Martyred Lieutenant General Mohammad Pakpour to Martyred Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh and other martyred commanders and guards whose names and struggles will remain eternal, proud, and exalted in the history of defending the country."
Major General Hatami continued: "The IRGC, in interaction and synergy with the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on its faithful and dedicated human capital, remains a solid barrier against any threat and aggression, and this reality has dismayed the enemy today."
The Army Commander-in-Chief noted: "From the beginning of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the enemies' desire has been for the Iranian nation to abandon its rightful demands, but our beloved nation, by enduring hardships, paying costs, and offering many martyrs, has stood and will continue to stand against the enemies."
He emphasized: "Enemies must change their perspective toward the great people of Iran, the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and they must know that they must speak to the great nation of Iran in the language of respect."
Emphasizing that the existing unity and coordination between the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is the sturdy pillar of national security and the key to conquering the peaks of security and authority, Major General Hatami added: "The unbreakable unity of the Army and the IRGC, as expected by the leaders of the Islamic Revolution, is an iron shield that has protected our country against the enemy’s seditions, tricks, and conspiracies."
The Army Commander-in-Chief said: "In the recent Imposed Wars and our standing against the enemies' demands, we proved once again that we will not compromise on our national interests, and the Iranian nation and the armed forces rising from the nation will forcefully continue the path of the martyrs."
Major General Hatami concluded: "The enemies of the great Islamic nation of Iran clearly saw that the slightest aggression will be met with a unified, swift, intelligent, and strong response from the fighters of the Army and the IRGC, and today, by virtue of this very resistance, the Islamic system stands at the apex of authority and pride."
