Jahanara constantly reported the movements of the enemy on the border to Banisadr even months before 22nd of September 1980 and even brought several officials to investigate the situation in Khorramshahr and the border. But none of these were effective and unfortunately, the Iraqis reached the gates of the city in the early days of their invasion.
