A member of Iran’s Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said: If European countries want to make a big mistake and move towards reinstating UN sanctions, there will be no reason for Iran to continue adhering to these restrictions.

Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani, has cautioned that threats to activate the so-called “snapback” sanctions against Iran, stemming from the 2015 nuclear agreement with global powers, are counterproductive and will elicit a strong reaction from Iran.
