Pres. Rouhani underlines govt.'s full support for IRGC

Rouhani expressed gratitude to the efforts of IRGC's distinguished forces and emphasized the need for unity and coherence among all the forces and institutions of the country and the efforts to implement the guidelines of Leader of Islamic Revolution and to sincerely serve the people during a meeting on Monday evening.

He expressed the hope that, during the new government's tenure, the coordinated efforts of all armed forces would quickly accelerate the fulfillment of the people's demands and all responsible institutions and organizations, with full transparency in their field of expertise, will increase the efficiency and strengthen the combat capability of the Revolutionary Guards Corps and the Army through the use of modern technology to ensure the country's national security more than ever.

President Rouhani also emphasized full support of the government for IRGC services in its mission.

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari also congratulated Dr. Rouhani's re-election and high turnout in the elections and announced the readiness of the IRGC to cooperate fully with the government in realizing the goals of the Islamic Revolution.
