Al-Nusra Retreats from More Regions in Southeastern Idlib under Syrian Army Attacks
TEHRAN (defapress)- The Syrian Army troops captured more regions following continued attacks on the positions of the Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board) in their push towards Abu al-Dhohour airbase in Southeastern Idlib on Tuesday.
The army men stormed heavily Al-Nusra's positions in Southeastern Idlib and captured the villages of Abu Tahtiheh, Sha'arah al-Aja'ez and Hawa Farm.
The army's engineering units started to defuse landmines and bombs planted by the terrorists in the region as soon as Al-Nusra retreated.
Relevant reports said on Monday that the army forces beat back the al-Nusra from the villages of MardQana al-Bartaqa and Moshrefa Harmala Northeast of the newly-liberated town of Sinjar.
Also, the army men freed the villages of al-Fariheh, al-Hajman, al-Davoudiyeh, Rob'a al-Hawa and Abu al-Alij in Southeastern Idlib.
