Explosion in NW Syria kills 15, wounds over 30
A blast in city of Idlib, northwestern Syria has claimed the lives of 15 people and injured over 30 others.
(Tehran) Defapress: According to Russian TV news channel ‘RT Arabic’, The explosion happened in a house which was under the control of terrorists.
As a result of the blast in the 7-storey house, 15 people were killed and 36 others were injured, Mohammad Haj Youssef, director of Syria's White Helmets civil-defense force in Idlib said.
The reason behind the accident has not yet been identified but it is likely to happen due to missile shooting from Manbij or Tell Rifaat cities, he added.
Many parts of the house have been dilapidated and rescue forces are searching for those hidden under rubbles.
