Rouhani: Iran prioritizes development of ties with Italy

TEHRAN(Defapress)-In his message to Mattarella, Rouhani said constructive interactions with Italy as an important EU member state based on mutual respect and interests has been among Iran’s priorities.

Fortunately, both countries 's relations are growing, he said, adding that signing the credit line agreement would facilitate implementation of the documents inked by by both sides.

Rouhani wished health and success for Mattarella and dignity for Italian people.

Festa della Repubblica is the Italian National Day and Republic Day, which is celebrated on 2 June each year.

The day commemorates the institutional referendum held by universal suffrage in 1946, in which the Italian people were called to the polls to decide on the form of government, following the Second World War and the fall of Fascism.
