Coordinated Terrorist Attack Reported in Jalalabad City
A group of militants launched a coordinated suicide attack on a training center of the midwives in Jalalabad city, the provincial capital of Nangarhar.
TEHRAN (Defapress)- Provincial governor’s Spokesman Ataullah Khogyani confirmed that the incident has taken place in the vicinity of the 3rd police district of the city.
A security source confirmed that the militants have launched attack on a training center of the midwives near the Public Health Directorate and a standoff is underway.
The source further added that the midwives have been rescued and a clearance operation is underway to kill the assailants.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility behind the attack.
