Several Ankara-Backed Militants Killed in Kurds' Operations in Aleppo

Several Ankara-Backed Militants Killed in Kurds' Operations in AleppoThe Kurdish-language Hawar News reported on Friday that the Kurdish forces in 'Wrath of Olives' operations against the Turkish army forces and affiliated militants destroyed the positions of Firqat al-Hamzeh terrorists in the village of Juwaiq in the town of Afrin in Northwestern Aleppo, killing 6 people and wounding at least 4 others.

It added that the Kurdish fighters also killed a member of Jibhat al-Shamiyah terrorist group affiliated to the Turkish army with sniper gun in the village of Kaljabrin in A'azaz region in Northwestern Aleppo.

In a relevant development earlier this month, the Kurdish fighters conducted a military operation against the Turkish army and its allied militants in the village of Kimar in Shirva region of Aleppo's Afrin, inflicting heavy casualties and losses on them.

"At least four Turkish soldiers and their allied militants were killed and several others were wounded in the Kurdish fighters' offensive in Kimar village of Afrin region," media activists in Northern Aleppo said.

They also said that over five Ankara-backed militants were killed and several others were wounded in the course of the Kurdish military operations near the towns of Ezaz and Mareh as well as the key town of al-Bab in Northern Aleppo.

The official social media account of the Kurdish Wrath of Olives operation room, meantime, reported that its fighters detonated a roadside bomb while a Turkish military convoy was moving through the village of Ajil near al-Bab.

The Kurdish group said that at least three Turkish soldiers were killed as a result of the attack, including two military police officers.
