Molavi Hosseinzahi Criticizes HTS's Approach to the Palestinian Resistance

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Molavi "Abdolsattar Hosseinzahi", director of the Khash Educational Religious Complex, spoke with a Defapress reporter about the positions of the Syrian armed opposition towards the Palestinian groups stating that the people and government of Iran have always been and will be the supporters of the oppressed internationally, Islamic countries, and especially the Resistance Front in Gaza and Lebanon, and stated: Defending the Palestinian people and the Resistance Front has been one of the important strategies of the Islamic Republic of Iran from the past to the present.

Molavi Hosseinzahi pointing out that what is happening in Syria today does not indicate what will happen in the future, said: The Syrian people must be given priority toward the changes and events that are about to occur and make decisions regarding the future of Syria.

The Director of the Khash Educational Religious Complex added: We must see what position the Syrian people themselves will have in the face of the change that has taken place regarding the Syrian government. 

He continued by emphasizing that today the people of Gaza and Lebanon need the support of Islamic nations against the crimes of the Zionist regime, noting that the Islamic Republic of Iran will support the Resistance Front as in the past, and the governments of the region must also support the Resistance Front and the people of Syria.

Regarding the approach of the armed opposition in Syria towards the Palestinian groups based in the country, Molavi Hosseinzahi stated: “The approach of the armed opposition is wrong, and we call on the Islamic world and humanity to fulfill their responsibility towards the people of Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.”

The director of the religious and educational complex in the city of Khash added: “If the new government established in Syria is indifferent to the 50,000 martyrs in Gaza, tens of thousands of injured, and hundreds of thousands of refugees, its legitimacy will be tarnished.”
