TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Sputnik, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry reacted in a statement to Hamas's agreement to release the American prisoner it holds.

Ending the War Against Gaza is Essential

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry announced that Egypt and Qatar welcome Hamas's move, which is a positive step towards returning to negotiations.

The statement emphasizes that Cairo and Doha will continue their mediation efforts in coordination with the United States until the end of the war.
