Details of the New Egyptian and Qatari Plan for a Ceasefire in Gaza

TEHRAN (Defapress) - A knowledgeable source told Sky News Arabic that the Egyptian and Qatari mediators, along with Turkey, have presented a new plan that is also to be given to the leaders of the Hamas movement.

If Hamas agrees to this plan, the American mediator will also review it and present it to the Zionist regime.

The said plan emphasizes the release of all Zionist prisoners and the handing over of the bodies of other prisoners in exchange for the release of several Palestinian prisoners.

Also, according to this plan, Hamas must agree to the plan to redeploy Zionist soldiers under the supervision of Arab countries and the United States until a solution is reached regarding the movement's weapons and its presence in the Gaza Strip!

The plan refers to entering a transitional phase and stopping Hamas' armed activities, and starting negotiations to reach a permanent ceasefire agreement.
