Palestinian Nation Will Only Be at Peace with the Release of Its Last Captive

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Shahab, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas stated on the occasion of the prisoner exchange operation between the Palestinian Resistance and the Zionist regime, announcing in a statement that the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Resistance in the Gaza Strip will release 20 occupying prisoners who were in the hands of the Resistance. This action is being taken within the framework of implementing the first phase of the Trump plan to stop the war in the Gaza Strip.

The statement states that with this action, Hamas emphasizes its adherence to its commitments and the importance of the mediators' efforts to force the Zionist enemy to fulfill its commitments based on the agreement and complete the implementation of all its clauses.

The statement added: “The release of our heroic prisoners, including those sentenced to life imprisonment and heavy sentences and who have spent decades behind bars, is the fruit of the heroism and steadfastness of our great nation in the Gaza Strip and its children in the courageous Resistance. This is the fulfillment of the resistance’s pledge to its people and prisoners and the embodiment of the will of freedom that will not break in the face of the neo-Nazi oppression.”

Hamas added that during the two years of genocide and destruction in Gaza, Netanyahu and the Zionist army failed to free their prisoners by force and were ultimately forced to surrender to the conditions of the Resistance.

According to the statement, the Resistance made every effort to save the lives of the prisoners despite the efforts of the criminal Netanyahu and his terrorist army to target the Zionist prisoners. This is while the Palestinian prisoners in the Zionist prisons are exposed to all kinds of rights violations, including harassment, torture, and murder.

Hamas added that the issue of prisoners will remain at the top of the national priorities of our nation and Resistance, and the Palestinian nation will not rest until the last prisoner is released from the prisons of the Zionists and Nazism and the occupation of its land and holy places is eliminated.
