TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with Fox News, the spokesman for the Qatari Foreign Ministry said: "We have been waiting for this historic day (the signing of the Gaza agreement document) for a long time, especially over the past 2 years. We hope that this step will bring stability and peace to the region."
He added: "We postponed the examination of many issues to the second phase of the ceasefire negotiations so that the first phase can be held well. Currently, difficult and difficult negotiations have begun to examine the process of securing the Gaza Strip and its administration and ensuring that the war does not resume."
The Qatari official emphasized: "The said negotiations have been initiated to prevent a gap between the first and second phases of the ceasefire agreement."
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Qatar had announced that the complex issues between Hamas and Israel would be examined during the second phase of the negotiations.
