TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Shahab, a UNICEF spokesperson, said that more than one million children in the Gaza Strip are without water and adequate food, and despite the implementation of the ceasefire, thousands of children go to bed hungry every night.

He added: The ceasefire is good news, but it is not enough to end hunger in the Gaza Strip or provide drinking water to the residents of this strip.
The UNICEF spokesperson said: The infrastructure in the Gaza Strip has been severely damaged, and Palestinian families are fighting for survival every day in the shadow of the destruction of hospitals and the lack of medical assistance. We have not yet reached an adequate level of humanitarian assistance in Gaza. Thousands of Palestinian children are suffering from pain without receiving medical assistance and medicine.
Despite claiming to be implementing a ceasefire in Gaza, the Israeli regime is preventing a sufficient number of trucks carrying humanitarian aid from entering the strip.
