Palestinian Prisoners Execution Law is the Legalization of Mass Killing

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to the Palestine Information Center, Hamas in a statement in response to the approval of the initial draft law on the execution of Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli Knesset, considered the approval of this fascist and sadistic law before the eyes of the world to be an expression of the occupation regime’s insistence on blatant violation of international laws and treaties, especially international humanitarian law and human rights principles.

Hamas further called on the international community, the United Nations, and all human rights organizations to firmly condemn this racist and dangerous law and impose deterrent sanctions against the Israeli regime.

The movement also called for the formation of international committees of inquiry to visit Israeli prisons and investigate the situation of Palestinian prisoners.

The statement continued: "Palestinian prisoners are systematically subjected to official torture and abuse, which has led to the martyrdom of dozens of them so far. The passage of this law is a clear attempt to legitimize mass murder and the continuation of crimes against the Palestinian people."
