China's Concerns Over Taiwan-Israeli Military Cooperation

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Modern Diplomacy website wrote that new reports and assessments by China's security and intelligence agencies indicate increased military and defense cooperation between Taiwan and the Israeli regime to develop the T-Dome air defense system.

Thailand's T-Dome system is set to strengthen Taiwan's defense capabilities against Chinese missile threats by modeling itself on the Israeli regime's Iron Dome system.

Chinese officials have considered secret trips by some senior officials, including Taiwan's Deputy Defense Minister Wu, to Tel Aviv as a sign of deepening military cooperation between the two sides.

Taiwan is seeking to purchase or transfer advanced Israeli radar and missile technologies, including the Arrow system and other components of the regime’s multi-layered missile defense system, to integrate them into the T-20 structure.

Modern Diplomacy wrote: Beijing considers Tel Aviv’s approach a violation of the One China principle and interference in its internal affairs.

Beijing emphasizes that any official contact or military cooperation between Taiwan and other countries, especially the Israeli regime, is considered an infringement of China’s national sovereignty. From the perspective of China’s political and military institutions, covert or overt cooperation between Taiwan and the occupying regime is a direct threat to China’s national security.
