TEHRAN (Defapress) - The leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine (Hamas) issued statements yesterday, warning of the destructive actions of the Zionist regime regarding the ruining of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. They held Tel Aviv responsible for all visible and invisible consequences.

Gaza Ceasefire on the Brink of Collapse

Hamas leaders and officials accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of attempting to destroy the Gaza ceasefire agreement to divert attention from internal crises in Israel, and to ignite the region.

To provide a justifiable reason for the Zionist regime's intent, we must note Tel Aviv's serious doubts and reservations about establishing a committee of technocrats to govern the Gaza Strip. In this regard, we observe that the Palestinian Authority also collaborates with this illegal occupier regime.

Meanwhile, Hamas leaders and officials, emphasizing their commitment to pursuing and concluding the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, presented a list of 40 names to the Egyptian authorities for selection and membership in the technocrat committee to govern the Gaza Strip. However, surprisingly, we witness that the Zionist regime by making obstacles and sabotage, has led to failure the Hamas plan.

Mohammed Nazal, a leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas, also emphasized the need to enter the second phase of the ceasefire agreement and form a Palestinian national government, stating that the movement had submitted its initial proposal for this government to Egyptian officials in Cairo.

On the other hand, despite Hamas's complete implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement without any flaws, the Zionist regime continues violating ceasefire and killing Palestinians, and every day we witness that the martyr is rising.

Also, Zionist regime through demolishing homes in the "Yellow Line" area, targeting citizens visiting their remaining properties, and restricting the entry of humanitarian aid, continues its policy of pressure and aggression against the people of Gaza. During this period, the Israeli army has demolished over 2,200 homes and killed approximately 400 people.

Given all the aforementioned issues, it is predicted that there will be no significant change in Israel's behavior as we enter 2026. The expansion of military activities and Yellow Line zone, consolidation of positions in the east of Gaza, and attempts to limit operational space of Resistance groups, all indicate the Zionist regime's will to maintain the status quo.

In conclusion, the only factor that could put pressure on the Zionist regime and change its behavior towards Palestinians, especially the Gaza ceasefire agreement, is serious and practical pressure from the United States on the leaders and officials of this illegal occupier regime, as well as pressure from regional countries on the Tel Aviv war machine to fundamentally revise its plans and strategies regarding the Gaza Strip.
