Armed Forces Are Ready for a Devastating Response to Any Renewed Enemy Attack
TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a message on the occasion of May 24, the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr and the National Day of Resistance, Sacrifice and Victory, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps emphasized that the great and wise nation of Iran will neutralize and destroy the plans of the cunning and treacherous enemy in the atmosphere of negotiations to end the war, by maintaining and deepening unity and insight, and monitoring the positions and behaviors of his cunning and treacherous enemy.
The message, which was issued to commemorate the epic liberation of Khorramshahr after 578 days of occupation, states: May 24 is a reminder of the day when the zealous sons of this land, with the chant of "We can," cleansed Khorramshahr of the taint of Saddam's Ba'athist army, and the words of the late Imam that "God liberated Khorramshahr" resonated.
The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, pointing out that today, 44 years after that epic war, the Iranian nation has emerged victorious from the third imposed war that was sparked by the terrorist attack of the Zionist-American enemy and the martyrdom of the great leader of the revolution, noted: The enemy, after 40 days of crushing resistance, called for a ceasefire and is now watching the Iranians roar in seeking revenge for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution.
While congratulating the Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, and the noble nation of Iran on this day, he emphasized that the Third Imposed war was combined, but the decisive response of the IRGC and the armed forces, backed by the epic presence of the people, failed the enemy in reaching its goals, and stated: The lesson of Khorramshahr is reliance on internal strength and active deterrence, and Iran's nuclear, missile, defensive, and offensive advances have forced the enemies to recalculate.
The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC considered the country's greatest strategic asset to be the determined and passionate presence of the people in all scenes, which is a solid and impenetrable barrier against the enemy's influence and conspiracy, and stated: The country's powerful armed forces are at the highest level of readiness and active deterrence in all missile, air, naval, land, space and cyber dimensions. Accordingly, any renewed attack by the enemy will result in a devastating and hellish response in regional and trans-regional dimensions.
He continued by considering the conquest of Khorramshahr as a lasting model for victory in the upcoming Khorramshahrs and the liberation of Holy Quds and the destruction of the evil Zionist regime by the Axis of Resistance. This message, by renewing the covenant with the ideals of the Imams of the Revolution and the martyrs of the first, second and third Holy Defense and declaring obedience to the orders of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and the Commander-in-Chief, has once again emphasized the point that the great nation of Iran will neutralize the enemy's plans in the atmosphere of negotiations to end the war, by maintaining unity and insight and monitoring his behavior.
