Iranian Nation's Epic Farewell to the Martyred Leader of the Nation

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The second day of the Iranian nation's epic farewell to the holy body of the martyred Leader of Iran and his martyred family is being held this morning (Sunday) in the Imam Khomeini Mosalla of Tehran, with the presence of many lovers of that departed soul.

Prayers are scheduled to be offered over the holy body of the martyred Leader and his family at 8 am today. People have been staying in the prayer hall since yesterday to participate in the prayer ritual over the body of the martyred Imam and testify before God and the Imam Mahdi that everything they have seen from the martyred Imam has been good and beneficial.

The number of mourners to participate in the prayer over the holy body of the martyred Leader continues to increase, and a wave of people is moving from the streets around the Imam Khomeini Mosalla of Tehran to the venue of the ceremony; People who have come with slogans of perseverance, hot tears, and hearts filled with sorrow to bid the last historic farewell to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

The mourners will mourn the body of the martyred Leader, in Tehran on Monday morning, July 6th. On Tuesday, July 7th, his holy body will be taken to Qom for burial and prayers. On Wednesday, July 8th, the body of the martyred Imam will be taken for circumambulation and burial to the shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) in Najaf and also to the shrines of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and Imam Abbas (PBUH). On Thursday, July 9th, the holy body of the martyred Imam, the nation, will be buried in the shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH).

Before the official start of the farewell ceremony for the body of the martyred leader of the nation, the mourners recited the blessed prayer of the Ashura pilgrimage in the Imam Khomeini Mosalla of Tehran, filling the atmosphere of the prayer hall with patriotic fervor.
