Strait of Hormuz Will Forever Remain Under Iranian Control
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of Iran’s Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, in an interview with Defapress correspondent, referring to the security equations of the region, stated: The task of the Strait of Hormuz is completely clear; this strategic waterway is under the control of the Islamic Republic of Iran and will remain in our hands forever.

Boroujerdi continued by discussing the conditions of the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait and stated: The Bab al-Mandab Strait is in the hands of the Yemenis, and given the extensive sanctions imposed by Saudi Arabia against Yemen, they control this strait as a countermeasure. This issue can naturally be analyzed within the framework of relations between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Referring to Yemen's position in the Axis of Resistance, he noted: Yemen's positions as an important Axis of the Resistance front have always been and are revolutionary. Yemenis also play an intelligent role in the developments in the Persian Gulf.
Boroujerdi went on to point out the recent moves by the US after the ceasefire, and attributed them to Washington's strategic failure, saying: "The Americans engage in mischief and evil, because a defeated person always tries to compensate for his defeat in some way. Given that the prestige of Trump and America has been lost within this country, among NATO allies, and throughout the world, analyzing these mischiefs fits within the framework of an effort to restore lost prestige."
