Sudanese Shield Forces Deploy Reinforcements to Ethiopian Border

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The pro-government Sudanese Shield Forces have deployed new reinforcements near the disputed border triangle of Al-Fashaga in neighboring Ethiopia.

The region, which has previously been the scene of numerous clashes between the Ethiopian army and pro-Sudanese government forces, is once again witnessing increased military activity.

The deployment of these forces comes in the wake of escalating regional tensions between Ethiopia and the Tigray People's Liberation Front, as well as escalating disputes between Sudan and Ethiopia. This increased military presence comes at a time when the UAE-backed RSF has been allowed to use Ethiopian soil as a base for its attacks into Sudan.
