Strait of Hormuz Is Closed Due to American Brutality
TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a message on X, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei referred to the US’s inverted narrative about the cause of insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz and the disruption of international commercial shipping, and wrote: The Strait of Hormuz was completely open until February 28, when the US and the Zionist regime attacked Iran.

Baghaei emphasized: Washington imposed an illegal and brutal war on our region and disrupted the normal flow of shipping, which is why oil tankers are now stopped, trade is disrupted, and energy prices are on an upward trajectory.
The Foreign Ministry Spokesperson continued: Washington is now struggling to present Iran as the cause of this disruption and insecurity that it itself caused, and to force the whole world to pay the exorbitant costs of its illegal actions.
"According to Washington's narrative, the war that the United States has started should be framed in reverse as the cost to the world of Iran's behavior," Baghaei added.
He continued: The United States has started the war, but it expects the entire world to pay for it, while at the same time portraying Iran as the cause of the chaos that it is itself responsible for. This inversion is utterly meaningless and baseless.
