Iranian envoy, counterparts hold talks in Vienna

Iran's Ambassador and permanent representative in international organizations in Vienna Kazem Gharibabadi held talks with his counterparts from France, Italy, China, European Union and South Africa on mutual cooperation in global organizations as well as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Iranian envoy, counterparts hold talks in ViennaTEHRAN (Defapress)-In the meetings, he pointed to recent meeting of joint JCPOA commission at the ministrial level, condemnation of the US unilateral exit from the deal, which was violation of the UN Security Council's resolutions and approvals of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors.

Joint statement of the ministers underlined the necessity for continuation of the JCPOA and considering ways to lower impacts of imposed secondary sanctions of Washington.

He underlined that all countries benefit from the JCPOA, and said the US unilateral exit from the deal may hit a big bit to multilateralism.

Gharibabadi expressed pleasure for resistance of all JCPOA sides against the US pressures, and said that the US has been isolated at international level now.

The aforementioned envoys expressed their country's support for JCPOA, and said they spare no effort to continue execution of the nuclear deal and fulfilling commitments in a bid to enable Tehran benefit from the deal.

The ambassadors underlined that they will continue trade with Iran.

They acknowledged that Europe resistance against US pressures and anti-JCPOA acts has been unprecedented move in history of EU.

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Monday that Iran complained to International Court of Justice at The Hague about US re-imposed unilateral sanctions against Iran.
