"We are expecting to sign 39 contracts, and the total will be almost 1.160 trillion rubles," Shoigu said as aired on Zvezda broadcaster, Sputnik reported.
The forum held in a Moscow suburb of Kubinka began on Sunday and will run through Saturday.
The sixth international defense industry forum ARMY-2020, organized by the Russian Defense Ministry, presents state-of-the-art weaponry and military hardware.
Russia has hosted the international defense industry event annually since 2015.
