Pezeshkian swearing ceremony will held on July 30

TEHRAN (defapress) - Masoud Pezeshkian is set to officially become the 9th president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with his swearing-in ceremony scheduled to take place in the parliament, on July 30, 2024. 

The event will be attended by the head of Iran’s Supreme Court, members of the Guardian Council, the judiciary chief, and various other high-ranking state and military officials.

Based on the planning, the ceremony will be held after the Supreme Leader formally approves the president.

Pezeshkian, 69, was elected as the ninth president of Iran after the votes of the July 5 presidential runoff counted.
