Choosing Sheikh Naim Qassem indicates the strength and initiative of Hezbollah

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to resistance media, the Islamic Jihad movement in a statement congratulated the election of Sheikh Naim Qassem as the Secretary General of Hezbollah and said: We congratulate all our brothers in Hezbollah on the election of Mr Sheikh Naim Qassem as the Secretary General of Hezbollah and the successor of our beloved leader, Martyr Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was martyred on the way to Quds.

This movement added that the election of Mr Sheikh Naim Qassem as the Secretary General of Hezbollah at this critical stage shows the strength of the Islamic resistance in Lebanon and confirms that Hezbollah is taking the initiative. This choice also shows the great strength of Lebanon's resistance in fighting the enemy and inflicting painful blows on it.

The Islamic Jihad Movement stated: We have known Sheikh Naim Qassem for many years. He is a very worthy person and has always emphasized supporting the Palestinian resistance and has supported the ideal and nation of Palestine in all fields, and we believe in his power to carry out this important mission until victory is achieved.

In the following, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement said: We reiterate that we stand by our brothers in Hezbollah and are present side by side in the fields of jihad and resistance. We wish Sheikh Naim Qassem and all our brothers in Hezbollah success in the path of resistance until victory.
