We Call for Deepening Extensive Relations Between Iran and Venezuela

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Esmail Baghaei, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote in a message on his account on the social network X (formerly Twitter): Congratulations to President "Nicolas Maduro" on his inauguration as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Baghaei stated: We wish him success in serving the country and the great people of Venezuela and we are eager to cooperate with the elected government for the good of the 2 nations of Iran and Venezuela and to deepen extensive relations between the 2 countries.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman noted: Iran expresses solidarity with the people and government of Venezuela in the face of the evil interventions and unilateral and illegal sanctions imposed against this country by the US.
