TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, the Zionist regime has not allowed humanitarian aid to enter Gaza for 7 weeks, and the international community has remained silent on this issue. This has put the lives of more than 2 million Palestinians in the Strip at risk.
Expressing grave concern over the worsening hunger situation in Gaza, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said: More than 2 million Palestinians have been under a complete siege and food embargo by Israel since March 2, and their lives are in danger.
Citing a report by the United Nations World Food Program, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry warned: The remaining food reserves in Gaza will soon run out, and this situation threatens people's lives.
The ministry called on Arab countries and the international community to pay serious attention to this warning and use all means to open aid channels and pressure on the Zionist regime.
The Zionist regime's authorities have openly spoken of ethnic cleansing of Gaza and, with the full support of the United States, have now placed the strip under complete siege.
