TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Zionist regime, while simultaneously engaged in the Gaza war and the massacre of Palestinians, continues to demolish and destroy the homes of residents in the Strip. Meanwhile, global human rights organizations and institutions have repeatedly issued statements declaring that the goal of this illegitimate and occupying regime through such actions is ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
However, the issue of ethnic cleansing in Gaza by the Zionist regime began when the regime's army, to eliminate or forcibly displace Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip, placed the brutal massacre and widespread destruction of Gaza City on its agenda.
Although the Zionist regime has denied accusations made by international and global organizations regarding the ethnic cleansing of Gaza's people since the beginning of the war, there is evidence indicating that the Zionist regime is using all its power to carry out ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
The first evidence pointing to the ethnic cleansing of Gaza's population is the widespread destruction of the Strip's infrastructure and ongoing efforts to forcibly displace Gazans to areas outside the city. According to reports from international organizations, over 85% of Gaza's population has been displaced so far, and tens of thousands of homes have been destroyed.
The complete siege of the Gaza Strip and the prevention of food, fuel, and medical supplies from entering the area is another significant sign of the Zionist regime's efforts to carry out ethnic cleansing in Gaza. This is why we see the Zionist regime's army tightening the blockade on Gaza, making life unbearable for its people in an attempt to force them to leave the Strip voluntarily.
Moreover, after more than a year and a half since the start of the Gaza war, nearly all hospitals and medical centers in the Gaza Strip have been destroyed or severely damaged due to attacks and bombings by the Zionist regime's warplanes. The extent of the damage is so severe that a significant portion of Gaza's medical facilities and hospitals are no longer operational.
But this is not the end of the story. The statements of the Zionist regime's leaders and officials regarding the situation in Gaza also reveal Tel Aviv's unwavering decision to pursue ethnic cleansing in Gaza. Accordingly, some Zionist regime officials, such as Israel Katz, have proposed forcibly transferring Palestinians to other countries.
On the other hand, Itamar Ben-Gvir has called for the forced migration of Palestinians and the settlement of Jews in Gaza. Additionally, Benjamin Netanyahu has explicitly spoken about "Israeli sovereignty over Gaza" after the war, which could mean a demographic change in the region.
In reality, the complete siege of Gaza, the prevention of food and medical aid, and the attacks on hospitals and relief centers, as reported by the World Health Organization (WHO), can be interpreted as tools to pressure civilians into leaving the area.
Within the framework of ethnic cleansing in Gaza, the leaders and officials of the Zionist regime have already prepared numerous proposed plans for governing Gaza after the war. Furthermore, some political circles within the Zionist regime, including the Likud party, consider Gaza part of "Greater Israel," and some proposals have been made to settle Israeli colonists in Gaza.
However, the Zionist regime will not easily achieve its sinister goal of ethnic cleansing in Gaza, as it will undoubtedly face international backlash and consequences. This is why we have already seen the International Court of Justice (ICJ) examine the possibility of "genocide" in South Africa's recent case against Israel.
On the other hand, human rights organizations have strongly opposed any form of ethnic cleansing in Gaza. For example, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have spoken about the Zionist regime's "war crimes" and "crimes against humanity." Additionally, Arab and Islamic countries have vehemently opposed any ethnic cleansing of Gaza's people, calling for condemnation and sanctions against this illegitimate and occupying regime.
In the end, the scale of violence against civilians, the statements of extremist officials, and long-term plans for Gaza have led everyone to conclude that the ultimate goal is to change the demographic composition of Gaza. Therefore, if this trend continues, there is a possibility of increased international condemnation and even serious sanctions against the Zionist regime.
