TEHRAN (Defapress) - Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, began his speech today, Thursday, regarding the latest developments in the region, particularly Gaza.

Israel Has the Most Cowardly Army in the World

Al-Houthi pointed out that the Islamic world has not taken any truly meaningful action for the Palestinian people, stating: "Israel is escalating its crimes, committing horrific mass killings in Gaza, while Arab regimes merely issue statements without taking any practical measures."

The leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement noted that this week has been the bloodiest in terms of the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza, saying: "This week, over 3,000 people in the Gaza Strip, most of them women and children, were martyred or wounded. This is the highest toll in nearly a year and a half, with many martyrs still buried under the rubble."

The Massacre of Gaza’s People with American Bombs

He added that the Zionist enemy is carrying out direct attacks on tents, schools, and shelters, stating: "The enemy is focused on targeting displaced people using American bombs and is constantly pressuring to forcibly displace the people of northern Gaza."

Al-Houthi continued: "The scale of the Zionists’ crimes has reached such a level that even one of their criminals, in response to these actions, said he could not believe this was happening because everyone has become accustomed to 100 people being killed daily in Gaza, with no one caring."

Criticizing the statements of Arab and Islamic countries regarding Gaza, he said: "These countries call on others to do something for the Palestinian people as if they themselves are an Ummah without responsibility. Israel is exploiting this Arab submission to the fullest."

The Reason Behind the Name of Israel’s New Ground Operation

Referring to the Zionist regime’s renewed ground operation aimed at forcibly displacing Gaza’s residents and occupying its north, al-Houthi emphasized: "Israel has named the operation ‘Gideon’s Chariots.’ The reason for this name is that it is borrowed from Jewish superstitious beliefs and is linked to the crimes of forcibly displacing Palestinians since 1948."

He stressed that many leaders of the Zionist regime are certain their criminal operations in Gaza will fail, adding: "Some former officials of the regime admit that these operations have failed and will bring no benefit to the Zionists."

Al-Houthi also stated: "Former Zionist Prime Minister Ehud Olmert says this is a war without purpose, and Israel’s actions in Gaza constitute war crimes. The statements of Yair Golan have also caused an uproar among the Zionists."

Gaza’s Famine is a Disgrace to the Islamic World

The Ansar Allah leader described the spread of famine in Gaza as a disgrace to the Islamic world and Arab countries, saying: "Some families in Gaza eat one meal every day and a half, or sometimes every two days. If even a trace of humanity, courage, and sense of responsibility remains among Muslims, the cries of Gaza’s women should be enough to awaken the zeal of millions of Muslims."

Al-Houthi noted that Muslims could take many actions for the Palestinian people but choose to remain spectators, stating: "The silence of Muslims has emboldened Israel to commit this catastrophe. Their silence has allowed Israel to carry out such crimes with full audacity, confident that there will be no reaction."

Criticizing Israel’s efforts to Judaize occupied Jerusalem, he added: "Israel has also continued its crimes in the Jenin camp over the past four months, displacing 22,000 people and completely destroying hundreds of homes. Israel seeks to change the situation in Jenin."

The Ansar Allah leader emphasized that Israel seeks to fully occupy the Gaza Strip, stating: "Israel compensates for its defeat with crimes. The Israeli army is the most cowardly in the world, primarily relying on crime and genocide. Israeli soldiers are deeply afraid of operations by Palestinian fighters, even of approaching or engaging with them. The Israeli enemy is currently in a state of weakness and is trying to compensate for its defeat by committing more crimes."
