Europe's Outrage at Israel's Destruction of Humanitarian Projects in Gaza

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor issued a statement condemning in the strongest terms the systematic destruction of projects, infrastructure, and housing units financed in whole or in part by the European Commission and EU countries.

These projects were generally built by Palestinian civil society organizations or by UN agencies, in particular the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which have been destroyed during the Israeli regime's genocide in Gaza for the past two years.

In its press release, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor emphasized that the systematic destruction of the Zionist regime not only targets material assets, but also encompasses vital systems established to guarantee people's basic rights to livelihood, including access to clean water, healthcare, education, and adequate housing, in a way that is a clear violation of Tel Aviv's obligations as an occupying power under international humanitarian law.
