Details of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Agreement from the Afghan Government Spokesman

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman for the Afghan government, referring to the signing of the comprehensive ceasefire agreement between Afghanistan and Pakistan in Doha, stated: The agreement with Pakistan stipulates that no group that carries out attacks against the Pakistani government will be supported.

According to Mujahid, the agreement with Pakistan emphasizes the commitment to peace, good neighborliness, and resolving existing issues through dialogue.

The Afghan government spokesman stated that the two sides commit not to target security forces, civilians, or facilities in either country.

Mujahid stated that the agreement with Pakistan includes the establishment of a mechanism under the supervision of intermediary countries to follow up on the implementation of the provisions of the agreement.

The Afghan government spokesman said that the two sides appreciate the efforts of Qatar and Turkey in facilitating the agreement between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
